The 2025 Brighter Days Festival Cheque Presentation, held at the Montmorency Eltham RSL, was a truly memorable afternoon filled with connection, generosity and celebration.
With a fantastic crowd in attendance and live music by the Screamin’ Eagles setting the tone from the very first note, the room was full of energy, warmth and community spirit. It was wonderful to see so many supporters come together to celebrate the impact of this year’s fundraising efforts.
We are incredibly proud to share that each of the three beneficiary charities — DEBRA Australia, Cooper Trewin Foundation, and Cure EB Foundation — received $175,000 as part of the 2025 presentation.
In addition, thanks to the extraordinary generosity of long-time supporters Dot and Tony, DEBRA Australia received an additional $250,000, bringing the total funds donated in 2025 to an outstanding $775,000.
The day was made even more special by the presence of our sponsors and members of the wider Brighter Days Festival family, many of whom travelled from across Victoria to be part of the occasion. Their continued passion, commitment and generosity are what make these outcomes possible, and we are deeply grateful for their ongoing support.
We are already looking ahead with excitement to next year’s event, which will be held in Bright from 6–8 March 2026. We look forward to coming together once again to celebrate community, music and meaningful impact.
