Bairnsdale Sunrise Rotary has again help organise a Raffle to raise money for the Cooper Trewin Memorial SUDC Research Fund.

Pictured along side the Mayor of East Gippsland Robert, Kylie and Chelsea Trewin are currently in discussions with world leading researchers in an attempt to establish research into the Sudden and Unexplained Death of Children over the age of 12 months.

The Fathers Day Raffle that was drawn today raised over $5,000 that will go towards the fund and the winner of the Beautiful Garden Seat and First Prize donated by White Rose Furniture was Pam Trewin. Second prize being a BBQ donated by Dahlsens was won by Simon Russell. Third prize donated by Glenn & Judy Wicks Optometrists was won by Rus Hogan. Fourth prize that was donated by Peels Cruises was won by Mina Armstrong. Fifth prize that was donated by Bairnsdale Fine Jewellery was won by Kristy Neven.

The Cooper Trewin Memorial SUDC Research Fund is also holding a Golf Day on the 28th of October in Melbourne and with the proceeds that will be raised on that day alongside this raffle will bring the total fundraising to approximately $200,000. Robert wanted to thank the local Bairnsdale Sunrise Rotary members for all of their support and effort in helping raise this amazing amount of money for such needed research.
